Penguins of the Auckland Islands

The Auckland Islands are home to three species of penguin:

5,000 pairs of Eastern Rockhopper Penguin (Eudyptes chrysocome filholi)

1,000 pairs of Erect-crested Penguin (Eudyptes sclateri)

< 500 pairs of Yellow-eyed Penguin (Megadyptes antipodes)
